what kind of event?
This is an activity unique to Sail In Asia. Absolutely no experience required as full instruction given by our fully trained and experienced staff. Up to Twenty individuals propel this 40' long Dragon Boat in fun competition, with the drummer at the bow beating out the rhythm, and the paddlers working together to win the race, or just enjoy the ride.

Events will generally consist of a series of races with a Grand Final. Full or half day events dependent on number of participants with beach B-B-Q or Beach party as additional options.

who should go for it?
Any Company, Club, Organisation or group of individuals seeking a unique, fun experience. Whether for Corporate team building, Charity fund raising, or just a fun day out with a difference.

when and where
Events will usually be held at our beach location at Ao Yon, but can also be accommodated at any suitable location of your choice, subject to conditions.

Dragon Boat events can be held at anytime and date throughout the year.

what kind of event?
This is a superb activity that will appeal to many people. Sail a Keel Boat (yacht) or catamaran for an hour and then race around the nearby islands or a dedicated course.

In one to two hours we can coach crews sufficiently to be reasonably proficient to handle our sail boats. Then the racing begins!

who should go for it?
Beautiful boats and stunning scenery, yachts gliding noiselessly through the water. The regatta can be structured for groups who have little previous experience.

It can also be structured for Corporate Teams who have had plenty. Sail in Asia can customize the regatta to the individual group.

when teamwork matters ...
Teamwork is tested under pressure and in a FUN environment. We believe competition is a useful way of improving many aspects of good teamwork. This is a team building activity par excellence.

Firefly/Catamaran Mini Regatta

what kind of event?
SIA is able to offer clients the possibility of some exciting catamaran racing on the latest performance catamarans the Firefly.

These craft are capable of speeds of over 20 knots and they are ideally suited to sailors with moderate sailing skills with a race instructor / facilitator on board.

who should go for it?
Each boat can be crewed by 5- 8 crew and the races are easily organised by SIA in the Ao Yon Bay locality (around buoys) or around the nearby islands.

A race series can be designed for clients that includes a morning of training and familiarisation and then a series of windward leeward courses.

the how and where ...
This is a bespoke event and gives clients an opportunity to shape the event on the water and off.

Options such as transfer from airport, hotel accommodation, beach or evening entertainment, and tours can also be organised by SIA.

Monohull Keel Boat Racing Regatta

what kind of event?
Mini regattas are the forte of Sail in Asia. Our site is ideal for organising and running such events as racing regattas. We use a variety of fast sailing mono hull yachts and also multihull yachts.

We have committee boats, buoys, safety craft, briefing areas wet and dry as well as the perfect beach facility to organise briefings, scoreboards, BBQ and even a marquee.

who should go for it?
The yachts we have are fast and competitive and yet in the hands of a skilled racing coach or instructor can be tailored according to skill level of the client and of course weather conditions.

We have several different fleets of catamaran that we use for race regattas. These enable small (7 persons) to quite large teams (up to 18 per boat).

where, how and more!
The courses are set in Ao Yon Bay or around the beautiful islands nearby.

what kind of event?
This is a day or half day at the beautiful beach at Ao Yon participating in a variety of activities. Sail in Asia organises groups to do the following activities.

	Dinghy sailing
	Canoeing
	Keel boat and catamaran sailing (5-10pax) per boat
	Dragonboat Racing or cruising
	Powerboat excursion (1hr around nearby islands) with snorkeling

who should go for it?
Groups of 20 - 100 are ideal. Team building is left to the Instructors and facilitators for each activity. We organize the team building mostly on the water.

Activity is the aim with maximum participation and enjoyment our principal aims. To do these activities involves the groups in important team building skills.

The activity is based at Sail In Asia's fabulous beach location at Ao Yon. The half-day or full day event starts with a welcome drink, a safety briefing and the formation of groups for the various activities. Barbeque and beach party can also be arranged.

Learn to Sail Racing Yachts

what kind of event?
It takes a team to sail these yachts and everyone has a job. We arrange a days sailing on these performance yachts with a skipper instructor.

The morning is spent learning how to pull up sails, adjust sails as the boat sails along a course and how to Tack and Gybe the craft efficiently. The afternoon is spent learning to race. These are amazing yachts, the power and responsiveness of the vessels is truly inspiring. .

who should go for it?
Groups of 5-50 are ideal. Galvanizing a crew in a day is the objective. The rewards of sailing these performance craft well, are obvious to all aboard. A fun day out for all with huge benefits for the teams. Competition carefully managed brings out the best in people.

Sail In Asia's tranquil location at Ao Yon is a sight to behold. Learning to sail in the backdrop of picturesque seascapes is a definite plus when it comes to doing EVENTs with us.

This is a day or half day starting at the beautiful beach at Ao Yon Bay participating in a series of races after some training.

Sail in Asia organises groups into teams and selects boat appropriate to clients wishes and their aptitude. Race organization, course setting and event management is left to SIA. Clients just enjoy the racing, usually a series of short races to maximize enjoyment.

who should go for it?
Groups of 10 - 50 are ideal. Team building and race training is left to the Instructors and facilitators for each activity. We organize the team building mostly on the water.
